Anyone got a fiver for the bridge?

It was September 2002 when Exeter City last ventured across the border into Wales – for a League game with this year’s Blue Square new boys, Wrexham.

City lost that one 4-0, as even the half-time introduction of Don Goodman and Neil Whitworth (what strength in depth!) couldn’t save the relegation-bound Grecians from defeat.

Tonight (Wednesday) City head to Newport, hoping to bounce back from last night’s reverse at Weymouth.

Once again, it looks like there’ll be a run-out for most of Paul Tisdale’s squad including an array of youngsters.
