Exeter’s Capital One Cup season continues against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in the second round on Tuesday; with this a 7:45pm kick-off tonight.

Sunderland will be playing in the red and white stripes tonight however Exeter, of course familiar with those colours, might play in a changed strip but the Grecians will be looking for another League Cup upset.

If Exeter could see of Dick Advocaat’s side, which would surpass the first round win over Swindon it would be a massive achievement, however perhaps in some ways given the poor start to the season the Black Cats have made not too much of a surprise!

Sunderland did win the last meeting back in 1989, a fourth round replay they saw off Exeter five-two in.

Some tasty ones here, with plenty of scope for some League Cup upsets you feel!

Exeter will hope for a positive result, and a place secured in round three, but will this happen?

Whatever line up Tisdale goes with expectancy, certainly hopes, will be high of advancing into the next round of the League Cup, however ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of two ways….

Exeter win
Sunderland win

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
