The December nominations for the Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month Award are:

Nicky Adams (Carlisle United) – winger
Last season`s Sky Bet League Two assists king is at it again. The Carlisle players now have full confidence in his delivery from wide positions. Four of his side`s seven goals in the month came from his slide-rule balls and pinpoint crosses.

Scott Kashket (Wycombe Wanderers) – striker
Unwanted by Leyton Orient, the 20-year-old has been converted from winger to striker by Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth and is proving his worth every match. A natural finisher, he scored in each of his side`s four December games.

Oscar Threlkeld (Plymouth Argyle) – full-back
Found himself thrust into an unfamiliar left-back role because of injuries and adapted superbly as Argyle kept three clean sheets in four games. His infectious running was seen in midfield against Crawley Town when he scored the goal that took Plymouth top.

Ollie Watkins (Exeter City) – striker
Five goals in four games for the 21-year-old included a hat-trick in the 4-1 New Year`s Eve win at Newport Town. What makes the feat even more impressive is that he spent most of December playing in a slightly deeper role, breaking from midfield.

Winners will be announced on Friday 6th December 2017.
