Exeter had to be content with a point on Saturday following a 0-0 home draw against Grimsby.

In a match of few chances Richard Logan’s header was one of the best for Exeter, but this was saved by ‘keeper Phil Barnes. Peter Bore’s effort, which was cleared off the line by Matt Gill, was the closest that Grimsby came.

Grimsby’s Tom Newey was also lucky to escape with a booking, when a red card could’ve been issued on another day.
