Grecians supporters interested in standing for election to the Exeter City Supporters’ Trust Board of Society have until Saturday 9th August to put their name forward for a candidate pack.

The Trust became the majority shareholder within weeks of City’s relegation to the Conference, and has raised £850,000 in the subsequent five years, largely through donations from members.

Currently, there are 2,553 Trust members, each paying at least £24 annually to keep Exeter City under its fans’ control. There is no ECFC sugar daddy.

Denise Watts, Chairman of both the Supporters` Trust and of Exeter City FC, said: “Democracy is one of the founding principles of the Trust movement.

‘It is vitally important for the future development of our Trust that as many of our members as possible engage in this process.

‘I urge anybody who is thinking of standing, to do so.”

Elections, if required, will follow in the Autumn, with the results made public at the Trust Annual General Meeting on 18th October.

Thanks mate. And ditto, good luck to the Imps too. As for our links with the ECFC Supporters Trust, I’ve just sent them an email asking for permission to give any profits raised from this site to the Trust in exchange for using the Trust logo, so hopefully that will work out.
