Ben Watson scored a hat-rick for Exeter City Reserves as they thrashed their Forest Green counterparts 6-1 at the New Lawn.

It was Watson`s first start for the City reserves this season as he continues to return to full fitness after a lengthy period on the treatment table. His three goals follow his brace against Plymouth Argyle Reserves a fortnight ago.

As well as Watson`s goals, Elliot Freer, James Dunne and Bertie Cozic also got their names on the scoresheet. In addition, Craig McAllister featured in the team in his return from a short term injury.
