Exeter City have secured the signing of Troy Archibald Henville on a permanent deal.

Henville`s moves from Tottenham Hotspur on a two and a half deal and for a undisclosed fee after two successful loan deals with the Grecians.

This is the first time that City have paid a fee for a player since the signing of Sean Devine in 2003.

Henville is a raw talent, but has the undoubted potential to achieve highly in the game. The deal also eases Paul Tisdale`s defensive crisis, with Rob Edwards and Captain Matt Taylor the only two senior centre backs before Henville`s third coming.
