It’s being reported that Exeter have offered former Yeovil defender Jamie McAllister a deal until the end of the season.

The 36 year old is predominantly a left back and is now a free agent having returned from a spell playing for Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League following his release by Yeovil.

The Exeter Express & Echo report that he has been training with us in the last few weeks and having impressed manager Paul Tisdale, it’s said we have now offered him a short term deal.

They quote the player himself as saying.

‘I’ve been training with one of the teams locally in the Football League. I can’t say who at the moment. I have been training since I have been back. There’s a little bit of interest down here that I’m thinking about, so hopefully I will make the decision soon.’

They also quite Tisdale talking about Clinton Morrison and he says he will be looking to offer him a deal, as despite earlier speculation that he had in fact left, he’s continued playing a part and has impressed the gaffer also and he wants him to stay.
