Oakley Looking To Next Season

Matt Oakley has confirmed that he has talked with Paul Tisdale about staying at the club next season.

The midfielder told the Western Morning News.

‘This season has definitely given me that desire to play again. Paul has already spoken to me about playing next year, and I was pleased that he was looking beyond this year for me. We will discuss that in the summer, but that was mentioned before anything happened.’

Oakley adds it’s something he definitely wants to do now, and he feels at home at the club and knows how important he’s become for Tis. He doesn’t however think he’ll be fit for the end of the season, but he’s going to keep training as best he can just in case we don’t make automatic promotion he could figure in the play off games.
