Stat-master: Stockport v Exeter

Exeter City make the trip to Stockport this Saturday in an important game in the bottom third of the table.

The Grecians are currently four points ahead of County, who occupy the fourth relegation slot. Needless to say, a precious away win for the Grecians will propel them towards mid table obscurity. And that`s not a problem, as for this decade, Exeter have always had something to play for going into the last few weeks of the season.

The stats say Exeter have a poor record away from home this season. It is the form City have shown at St. James Park, with only one defeat thus far, which has kept their heads above water.

It is very much the opposite for Stockport, who have an identical record at Edgeley Park, as City have away from St. James Park. That is one win, two draws, and five defeats. Something has to give; or perhaps a draw.

Stockport have lost 3-1, 4-0, and 2-0 in their last three home matches, and I`m going to add a 2-1 scoreline to that list.
