Paul Tisdale hailed his side`s performance as Exeter City impressively beat Brentford 3-0 at St. James Park.

Speaking to BBC Radio Devon, Tisdale said his side were “hard working, professional, and competent” in achieving their third home victory of the season. Tisdale, who has an impressive home record as Exeter manager during his three years in charge, expressed the importance of City`s home form “We have to be good at home, and make sure we play to our position in the league and we did that”. The Grecians began the day just one point above the League 1 drop-zone, but this morale boosting victory sends City three points clear and into 17th place.

Exeter`s next home game is not for three and a half weeks, when they face Milwall. Next week is a potentially tricky FA Cup tie at Nuneaton, before tough away trips to Colchester United and Stockport County.
