Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale felt his side deserved a winning goal in the 1-1 draw with Gillingham at St. James Park.

The Grecians bombarded the Gillingham goal in the final fifteen minutes after a disappointing first half performance, and Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon “I think we were entitled to expect a goal in the final 15 minutes”.

However, Tisdale also alluded to his sides poor first half showing. “I think we were terribly disjointed in the first half” The City boss remarked. He suggested that his side was “a little grumpy” from the 3-1 defeat at Southampton on Boxing Day.

City are not in action this weekend, with original opponents Carlisle United playing in the third round of the FA Cup, and have a 12 day break before a difficult match at Paul Lambert`s Norwich City.
