Exeter failed to react to last weekends FA Cup defeat as they were beaten again on Saturday, 1-0 at Aldershot.

Daniel Seabourne went close for Exeter early on as the visitors had the best chance, but he headed wide. After a goalless first half Aldershot’s John Grant (53) scored the winner, although Grant missed the chance to add a second when Exeter ‘keeper Paul Jones saved his spot kick. The home side ended with 10-men when Danny Hylton (88) was sent off at the death.
