Exeter City: solving the striker problem

In a recent poll, Vital Exeter asked who should start alongside Adam Stansfield in attack.

30% of voters believe Stuart Fleetwood should be that man. 18% believe Barry Corr should be given another chance after he completes a three match ban for another unnecessary sending off. Fans favourite Richard Logan attains 15% of the vote, but manager Paul Tisdale has used him sparingly this season.

Only 11% believe regular starter Marcus Stewart should start alongside Stansfield, whilst 7% think Craig McAllister deserves a chance after return from a largely unsuccessful loan spell at Barnet.

Making up the remaining 19% is ‘Other`. That could refer to Ben Watson or a change in formation. More pessimistically, perhaps Exeter City don`t have a proven League 1 goal scorer. This is in fact true, when consulting the facts. Nevertheless, there is no money for transfers at St. James Park, and the signing of David Noble (who is actually unavailable due to injury for the next 2 months) may be only bit of incoming business.
