Manager Paul Tisdale has said the team will have to be brave when we face Northampton Town tonight.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, the gaffer talked about us having to attack the occasion and show courage during the game to ensure that we come out with the result we want which would be our first win in six attempts.

‘It’s a big game, we have to view any game, especially ones against teams in the bottom half, as one where it’s not just about the points we’re looking to gain. It’s about the points we’re looking to prevent them from getting also. We have to be bold and bullish.’

Tisdale references the reaction from him and the team when we grabbed the equaliser against Dagenham and Redbridge wherein everyone wanted to go on and win the game, and he says that simply has to be our mindset, we can’t be conservative, sit back and believe a point is enough, we need to get back to winning all three points that are on offer.

With the three of our upcoming games being against teams below us, those games take on an even more important aspect, as it’s not just about us pulling away from the bottom, it’s about keeping those teams down there.

We simply must build on the draw to Dagenham and get ourselves on a run now as the games are running out slowly and we need to make them count.
