Exeter picked up the win that they needed to ensure automatic promotion from League Two on Saturday.

A 1-0 win over Rotherham, thanks to a goal from Richard Logan, was enough for the win that saw Exeter claim an automatic promotion place into League One next season.

Exeter finished in the runners-up spot behind champions Brentford, and despite losing 2-1 at Notts County it was Wycombe, even though Bury won, that took the third automatic promotion spot on goal difference, with this better than Bury’s by a single goal!
