Exeter have been drawn against Peterborough in the first round proper of the FA Cup this season.

The draw took place earlier today and it’s expected the match will be set for Saturday November 9th with a 3pm kick off.

It will also take place at London Road as Exeter came out of the hat second in the draw.

It will be the first time both sides face each other in the FA Cup in over a decade as our last match was back in 1995, at the same stage of the competition, and on that day Peterborough came out one nil winners at St James Park.

Paul Tisdale will also be looking to rectify the history books as we haven’t won at Peterborough since 1988 where we snuck a one nil victory ourselves back in the old days of Division 4.

It should be a good game against the League One side as they currently sit third in the division, and Exeter are sitting pretty in 5th place in League Two.

Ticket and travel details will be announced in due course.
