Exeter City start what looks to be a difficult month on paper, when they make the long trip to Norwich this Saturday.

Paul Tisdale`s side will have to upset the odds to gain a positive result at Carrow Road. The Canaries haven`t lost there in the league since that infamous 7-1 defeat to Colchester on the opening day of the season. Since then, Colchester boss Paul Lambert has made the move to Delia Smith`s side, and has revitalised a season that threatened to break down before it had begun.

In addition, defenders Jens Berthel Askou and Michael Spillage, and midfielder Owain Tudur-Jones are all out.

Player to watch: Grant Holt

Exeter know the danger of Holt, having been signed by the Canaries from Shrewsbury in the summer. The striker has been in sparkling goalscoring form this season, and looks set o battle with Southampton`s Ricky Lambert for the golden boot in League 1.

Exeter City Team News:

Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale has the added option of striker Craig McAllister after his return from a loan spell at Barnet. New signing David Noble is unlikely to feature for the first team for next two months.

Player to watch: Ryan Harley

The Grecians need Harley to find his best form once more, and if he does, a positive result is not beyond them.
