Exeter City entertain Leeds United which is unsurprisingly the most anticipated game at St. James Park for most this season.

Visitors Leeds are running away with the League 1 title, and claimed the scalp of Manchester United in their last game away from Elland Road.

Exeter City Team News:

Experienced defender Rob Edwards is set to replace Danny Seaborne – who departed for Southampton in midweek – in the heart of the Grecians defence.

Troy Archibald Henville – whose loan deal from Tottenham expires next week – is suspended, as is striker Barry Corr.

Player to watch: Matt Taylor

The City captain will have his hands full this afternoon, and will look to contain Jermaine Beckford

Leeds United Team News:

Leeds United manager Simon Grayson should have left back Andy Hughes available, after a hamstring injury.

The visitors have no further injury worries, with Ben Parker also returning to first team training in the past week after recovering from a groin injury.

Player to watch: Jermaine Beckford

No prizes for the danger man of the visiting Leeds team. 26-year old Beckford is perhaps the star player of League 1, and scored a brace on the opening day of the season as United beat the Grecians 2-1.

Last Meeting

Exeter City marked their first campaign in League 1 since 1994 at Elland Road. 2,800 City fans made the trip to Leeds` 40,000 all-seater ground.

Jermaine Beckford gave the home side an early lead. However, the Grecians gave a strong account of themselves, and despite Barry Corr`s red card, Alex Russell sent the travelling City fans into delirium when his free-kick fifteen minutes from time levelled matters. However, Beckford, headed in two minutes from time to earn Leeds a hard fought victory.

Match Prediction:

Exeter City 1 Leeds United 3

The Yorkshire side are in fantastic form, home and away. There is little chance manager Simon Grayson will his allow his side to lose focus ahead of their trip to White Hart Lane.
