2 Sep – (PAINT POT) SHREWSBURY
This competition really isn’t popular. Despite cheaper prices and free entry for kids, only 1,530 turned up to watch. At least it doesn’t count towards the 4,000 target.
30 Aug – LUTON TOWN
A good away following helped City to a fine attendance of 5,328. We await the away fan split from City, but again we’d guess at 4,600 home fans.
16 Aug – SHREWSBURY – 4,916
A shame to fall short of a 5,000 gate, with 4,916 braving miserable August weather at the Park. While we await the official ECFC number for away fans, we’ll guess at a solid turnout of 4,600 home fans.
12 Aug – SOUTHAMPTON – 6,471
It doesn’t count towards the 4,000 target, but a crowd of 6,471 for the First Round of the Carling Cup was a good start to the season.
