City have no fresh absentees, with Craig McAllister – sent off in midweek in a reserve game at Plymouth – available for selection. Dean Moxey played a blinder at Dean Moxey Court, so he’s in contention for a start.
Player to watch: George Friend
Of the City players linked with possible pre-transfer window moves away from the Park, we think George might be the most likely to attract an offer that City can’t refuse. As such, we’ll be hoping for a big display from our young left back today.

Luton have no new injury worries, but two players – Dean Morgan and Stephen O’Leary – have left for Orient and Hereford respectively.

Chris Martin, on-loan from Norwich, could be a handful. He’s a former Engalnd Under 19 striker, so he has the pedigree, and he’s also banned from a bunch of pubs for brawling. A frightening combination of skill and stupidity. ‘Hey Chris. Look at the stars…’

Aside from the odd friendly, this is only Luton’s second visit to the Park since the swinging sixties.
Their last visit in 2001 was a 2-2 draw. Matthew Taylor, who joined Bolton for £3.5 million this summer, scored both the Luton goals. Steve Flack, who didn’t get a multi-million pound move, netted for City.
Match Prediction:
After a midweek Carling Cup drubbing, Luton may be keeping it tight. And with City liable to drop into a 4-5-1 formation, a goal-less draw is a distinct possibility.
